When did you decide you wanted to be a plus model?
Modeling has been my passion and a lifelong dream of mine.  I have done some modeling as a child and as a teenager, but back then I was considered a standard model, because I was really skinny.  As I got older I started to gain weight and started wearing clothes in the double digits,  and therefore gave up my dream of modeling because I  felt that I had to be skinny in order to be a model.

One year ago I was browsing around on the Internet and came across a few plus models websites and I realized that there was a market for curvy women in the modeling industry.  I told myself if they can do it, I know I can do it too.  From that moment on I decided that I was going to start plus modeling and have been dedicated and determined to keep chasing my dream until I make it in the industry. Before plus modeling I was self conscious about my weight and thought I was fat.  I now embrace my curves and have learned to work with what I've got and if society doesn't like it then so what!

Who are your favorite curvy role models?
Tyra Banks, Mia Amber Davis, Madeline Figueroa-Jones,  Gwendolyn DeVoe, Jamil Kali, Christina Mendez, Chenese Lewis, Mo'Nique, Jill Scott, Queen Latifah, Jordin Sparks, Kimberley Locke, Jennifer Hudson, America Ferrera, Toccara Jones, and Whitney Thompson.  These are all women whom I admire and who inspire me to keep pursuing my dreams.

If you could pick the perfect plus modeling campaign for yourself, who would you want to work for?
I would love to work for any company or designer that specializes in clothing for curvy women such as Qristyl Designs, Monif C, BLUR Dezign's, Igigi, Ashley Stewart, Torrid, and Lane Bryant.

What are your dreams, desires and goals as a plus model?
My dream is for plus modeling to become my professional career and not just a hobby. My goal is to change the lack of representation of petite plus models in the industry,  and to let the world know that despite my height and my size I can do anything I set my mind to.

Name your favorite store to shop for curvy clothes in your hometown...
I don't have a favorite store in particular, because I shop anywhere that has clothing in my size.  I like to wear clothing that appeals to me and looks great on my body.
