[Maddy] How did BLUR Custom Dezigns come to fruition?

[Tiffany] BLUR was birthed as a result of our starved cravings for apparel that spoke to our personal styles. Ms. Jay is notorious for creating audacious collaborations from the walls of her closets. She has always had this "You might not wear it, but I will epitomize it" attitude.

One day, Ms. Jay arrived to my Baltimore apartment with these incredibly, distressed jeans and a "funky" top. I said to her, "You know something, you should come out with your own clothing line." She laughed and about 8 months later, in New York City, the subject was resurrected.
