Ladies, fall is around the corner. I have always been a big fan of this season when leaves turn pink, orange and yellow and the weather gets just cold enough, naturally depending on where you live, so you can get all wrapped up in your clothes in thicker fabrics and accessories without having to look like an astronaut. There is nothing like pairing a wool dress with a pair of boots and a cardigan with a trench over it plus gloves and a hat. Or, a pair of wide leg pants with a crisp white shirt and a long jacket.

Two big fall trends that were all over the runways and have finally started to hit the stores these days are the trench coat in outerwear and plaid in print.  I have always thought of the trench as one of the most versatile items a girl can have in her closet. Depending on how you style it, it can be the completing touch of a sexy, casual or romantic outfit. Speaking of versatility, we have just introduced a trench, which can be worn both as a dress and a coat. It is simply gorgeous.

Sexy it up. Say you have a hot date on Saturday night and you really want to dazzle in your new trench. Nothing works like a dress to do the job for a sexy yet elegant look. Try a nice number with a little decoltage to arouse just the right amount of interest. Combine that with a pair of pumps and an envelope clutch, another big fall item, and a pair of gloves and you are guaranteed to look like a movie star.
 
Dress it down. Casualize it for a perfect outfit when you are going around town running errands or walking the dog in the park. Combine it with a pair of jeans, boots, a nice white shirt and a sweater and you are all set to be chic and casual.

Over the clouds. Wear a bubble or a pleated skirt with a flower print blouse and add a pair of wedges and a beret for a romantic look.
