The Curvy All Star Weekend ended with a smash at the Walk MS walkathon in lower Manhattan. Together with the PLUS Model Magazine Team we walked 3 fun filled miles in order to raise awareness and funds towards a world free from MS.

As I approached the area with Luke and Madison I had a very emotional moment. I took a look at all the people gathering and I guess it was the realization that in some way they were all affected by MS.  I started to read the back of peoples t-shirts and one older gentleman had "I walk for my grandson" and the young boy was in a wheelchair and had an entire family walking with him and supporting him. What an amazing family and support system this young boy has. While it clearly does not take away from what he endures I'm sure it makes it better knowing that people are there to support him while he finds his way through his journey. Knowing this in my own life feels amazing.
