Happy Anniversary PLUS! It's been an amazing three years for us
to share with you. Every where I go I meet people of all ages and walks
of life thanking me for bringing PLUS to their virtual doorstep. To you
I say thank you, but this is not a solo show... we are a community, a
virtual family who come together because we have a genuine love and
passion for the plus size community, industry and fashion.
This month is very special for us, we celebrate our third year in
virtual print with Plus Model Valerie Lefkowitz on our cover. She was
graceful, sweet and wonderful in front of the camera. We also
bring you coverage from Full Figured Fashion Week in NYC. The days were
filled with parties, shows and beautiful fashions as people came from
all over the US to witness history in the making.
Do you remember our first 2009 cover? We featured our very first
aspiring model, Katie Reed, on our cover – read about her life after
being on the cover of PLUS. If you are a fan of 'The Game' as I am –
then our interview with Kendra Johnson will be a real treat for you.
She's a wonderfully honest with us about life as "curvy" actress.
