From near and far, readers react to the virtual pages of PLUS Model Magazine...
Congrats on much sucess with the MS walk. The May 2009
was the BEST issue ever! I have read it twice already, especially
how to dress for your shape... I loved this because my shape is not
like everyone elses. I don't have that hourglass shape and I am
pretty bulky in the middle but look for ways to compliment my shape and
I am pretty good at it. Limarie
I loved the May 2009 issue, it looks great!! I really, really,
really LOVE the new look of PLUS with the words across the top, and the
big opening page, it looks amazing, clean and simple and uncluttered...
I am digging it! Marisa B.
WOW! I love your magazine!!! As a high school senior, it is
nice to see that there are successful plus-sized women in the world. I
usually vary between 179-198 depending on my activity, and as I've
wrestled, played soccer, softball, and run, I can get pretty busy
sometimes. Yes, I would like to get my weight down, however, not for
looks. It is depressing sometimes to go into a store and see it in the
workers eyes that that store doesn't have your size, but at the same
time I know I'm beautiful. Your magazine never fails to show me that we
are not to be shunned just because we have a few extra curves!! I'm
blonde, blue-eyed, with a natural hourglass figure. I'm also a size 14.
My thighs touch, my arms jiggle, and I'm still confident in who I am.
That's what I love about your mag, it reminds us that beauty truly is
on the inside. My heart goes out to the bigger girls I see, the ones
who slouch and try to hide themselves behind baggy clothes and
try to become invisible. Why should we hide? And for those of you who
say that guys just aren't attracted to you, keep looking!!! Trust me,
there are plenty of good guys who know just how awesome we girls can
be, I've caught a couple of hunks myself! We're big, we're beautiful,
so come on ladies.... Throw back those shoulders, put on those heels
you've been eyeing, and strut your stuff!! As long as you focus on
taking care of yourself physically, spiritually, and mentally, how can
you go wrong?? Christi
I was recently turned on to your magazine and I would like to say I
am absolutely thrilled! I have been plus sized all my life and I can
honestly say it has never been an issue for me and I have always loved
myself and will continue to do so. I hope to read a lot more from you
guys and just wanted to let you know I love what you are doing! Keep
the movement going! Rubie
I want to thank you for your magazine. I am a plus size women who is
fed up with looking at all the skinny minis. I saw your magazine ad on
a Janice Dickenson Show rerun; I am grateful that there are other women
who are bigger and are happy about the way they look.Leanne

useful!) KUDOS to you and your team for a job well done! Rosie
