I am starting to send out pictures to modeling agencies. What should I send?
If you are just starting out, it is great to include a headshot (a
picture that shows your face) and a full body (a picture that shows
your frame head to toe). Include your height, bra size, waist
measurement, and hip measurement. Also, include what size clothes you
wear, i.e. shirt: 14-16 and skirt/pants: 16-18. You do not need
to include your weight since 200 lbs looks very different on different
people.
As far as pictures are concerned, you do not need to spend lots of
money if you are just starting off. A clean photograph of you, even a
school portrait will show agencies what you look like and if they are
interested they will contact you.
Include a cover letter as to why you are contacting them and if you are willing to travel if you don't live near a big city.
Remember, most agencies keep your pictures on file and do not return any pictures. Best of luck!!
